2nd to last week :)

I am so excited that this semester is almost done! Can't believe how much I have learned since August 2. Hopefully these next 2 weeks will go smoothly for us all. Best of Luck!

Alumni Lunch

Last week's Alumni Luncheon was not what I expected. When I walked into the room with my yummy brown- boxed sandwich and saw the Alumni sitting in front I was shocked. I thought it was going to be more of a presentation. But what went on was much better then us having to sit through another "lecture" I liked the interaction that took place and hearing about how the school used to be compared to how it is now. Every Dental Hygienist I have ever spoken to has never had anything negative to say about their profession and neither did the Alumni on Friday. I also found it nice to see Dr. P with her old friends from college. I hope that after we are done with school, us classmates stay in contact as they have :-)

Patient Confirmed!

I have just confirmed my first real patient as a Dental Hygiene Student. It is weird to know that I have a patient scheduled to see me under my name. It is exciting and scary. I am not sure if I am ready, but ready or not Friday is almost here :)
